Discover the 'Bühl' tent and pitch site, nestled by the magnificent 'Oak' natural monument. Secluded at the edge of the forest, this gravel path spot is perfect for tents and camper vans. Groups of up to 8 people can enjoy this unique setting. Fresh spring water flows almost continuously from the trough, safe to drink at your own discretion. Inside the hut's antechamber, you'll find a composting toilet for our guests. Benches and tables are also available there, ready to be set up at your pitch or tent site. The cozy hut features a spacious table, comfortably seating 8 for dining, games, or simply relaxing when the weather isn't inviting. A wood-burning stove provides warmth on chilly days; a crate of hardwood (short logs) is available for €8. When conditions aren't too dry, feel free to light a fire in the fire pit at your pitch. Two grill/fire bowls are provided. Firewood (fir/spruce, long logs) is available in the hut for €6 per crate. Please note that mobile reception can be very poor depending on your provider. This spot offers 2 pitches.

Accessing the spot is generally easy in winter. However, please note that when there is snow on the ground, the property cannot be reached by car, as the forest track leading to it is not cleared.

We live just 5 km from the village. If needed, larger grocery purchases can be stored in a refrigerator located in the courtyard.
Surrounded by abundant nature and tranquil forests, you'll experience breathtaking starry nights when the sky is clear. In summer, a refreshing water fight is the perfect way to cool down!
Right from the farm, pitch, or campsite, you can embark on fantastic hikes to destinations like the Brandenkopf, Schmusehisli, or Vogesenblick. The "Guck emol" hiking trail around Oberwolfach offers magnificent views of our community. For mountain bikers, the central Black Forest is a true paradise! How was silver mined? You can explore this question underground at the "Grube Wenzel" visitor mine. You can also go climbing at the Hornberger Platte. At the Vogtsbauernhöfe Open-Air Museum in Gutach, you can learn a great deal about life and culture in the Black Forest. Our region offers so many opportunities to make your holiday an unforgettable adventure!

Okay for one night.
With a self-sufficient travel vehicle, the place is not worth its money. Both pitches are placed with a slant directly next to each other on a forest path in a dense tree plantation - that does not invite you to linger.
For non-self-sufficient travelers, the somewhat remote hut offers solid infrastructure.
Monika and Fritze were wonderful hosts. They provided us with a magnificent spot in nature with lots of peace and quiet and a breathtaking starry sky. Anyone looking to spend a night far away from everything and simply enjoy nature has come to the right place. A very special place – we would love to come back!
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place. Fritze was very nice. Everything worked out wonderfully for us, and we had a truly restful stay. We already stayed with Monika and Fritze last year and will gladly come back.

A great place to escape from the world, enjoy the peace and quiet, and simply unwind. The spring next to the cabin is fantastic for cooling off in midsummer and quenching your thirst. However, the drive up was a bit too adventurous for us and steeper than we expected from the descriptions. In our old van, it was not a pleasant drive. A few extra signs would be helpful to find the way more easily while driving. But for anyone who has confidence in their car, the trip is well worth it.
