The "Guck emol" hiking trail around Oberwolfach offers magnificent views of our community. For mountain bikers, the central Black Forest is a true paradise! How was silver mined? You can explore this question underground at the "Grube Wenzel" visitor mine. You can also go climbing at the Hornberger Platte. At the Vogtsbauernhöfe Open-Air Museum in Gutach, you can learn a great deal about life and culture in the Black Forest. Our region offers so many opportunities to make your holiday an unforgettable adventure!

Discover the 'Bühl' tent and pitch site, nestled by the magnificent 'Oak' natural monument. Secluded at the edge of the forest, this gravel path spot is perfect for tents and camper vans. Groups of up to 8 people can enjoy this unique setting. Fresh spring water flows almost continuously from the trough, safe to drink at your own discretion. Inside the hut's antechamber, you'll find a composting toilet for our guests. Benches and tables are also available there, ready to be set up at your pitch or tent site. The cozy hut features a spacious table, comfortably seating 8 for dining, games, or simply relaxing when the weather isn't inviting. A wood-burning stove provides warmth on chilly days; a crate of hardwood (short logs) is available for €8. When conditions aren't too dry, feel free to light a fire in the fire pit at your pitch. Two grill/fire bowls are provided. Firewood (fir/spruce, long logs) is available in the hut for €6 per crate. Please note that mobile reception can be very poor depending on your provider. This spot offers 2 pitches.

Near the tent and pitch area, you'll find a charming, cozy cabin featuring seating, a compost toilet, a BBQ & fire pit, and outdoor benches and tables. Inside the cabin, there's a wood-burning stove where you can light a warming fire 🔥 to chase away the chill.

We live just 5 km from the village. If needed, larger grocery purchases can be stored in a refrigerator located in the courtyard.

Two tent or camper pitches near the 'Oak' natural monument. Tucked away at the edge of the forest, this gravel path is perfect for tents and campervans. The rear area can easily accommodate 2-3 tents or 2 campervans; please specify your preference when booking. Fresh spring water flows almost year-round from the stone trough and can be consumed at your own risk. A compost toilet is available for guests in the cabin's entryway. You'll also find benches and tables there, which you are welcome to set up at your pitch. Inside the cozy cabin, a table for 8 provides space to eat and play if the weather isn't inviting outside. You can also light a fire in the wood-burning stove on cold days (firewood is €8 per crate). When conditions aren't too dry, you're welcome to enjoy a fire in the fire pit at your pitch. Two grills/fire pits are available, with firewood provided in the cabin for €6 per crate. Please note that mobile reception can be very poor depending on your provider. While we don't get snow often, a winter campfire and a meal from the Dutch oven have their own special charm. The wood stove in the cabin also radiates a cozy warmth that is even more enjoyable during the winter months.
