Gaberlihof Rufi

We were welcomed by the host in a very friendly and uncomplicated manner. We particularly appreciated being allowed to use his gas grill free of charge. The sanitary facilities (toilet and shower) are located in the cowshed, and there is a washing-up area in the milk room. The site is very quiet and secluded in the middle of the Linth Plain, with a free choice between sunny and shady spots. Anyone who appreciates a beautiful view and proximity to farming will feel at home here. However, there are many flies during the day and many mosquitoes at night. Those who have trouble with dirt, flies, and a farm environment, or who are very fastidious, will probably feel less comfortable here. For nature lovers and people seeking peace and seclusion, however, the site is a good choice. The price of CHF 50/night is rather at the upper limit.

Friendly, straightforward contact and Martin is easy to reach by phone. Everything was exactly as described. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and also the presence of the cows in the stable. The toilet and shower met our expectations. We can definitely imagine booking this place again.
