Great campsite and accommodating hosts! Everything was perfect, would love to come back.
An incredible experience. After a beautiful hike, I enjoyed a cold beer and received a warm welcome from Trudi. In this dreamlike area with its diverse wildlife, you can perfectly recharge for the next day. Waking up with the sun on this massive mountain and the sound of goat bells was also indescribably beautiful and a unique experience!
Before reaching the campsite, you have to navigate a zigzagging mountain road. This path is relatively difficult to find. The campsite consists of three or four hills where you can pitch a tent. There is one toilet and a water point.
Our trip to Bannalpsee was absolutely brilliant. I just returned to Switzerland a while ago and I was looking for a camping experience in the mountains – it’s quite difficult to find places that combine hiking with camping, but Alp Oberfeld had it all in one. For anyone wanting to do this without worrying about food or washing facilities, I’d highly recommend booking with Trudi. They also have beds if you don’t fancy sleeping under the stars. I’d definitely go back. Thank you very much. PS: We loved the tea and the ice cream. ;)
Heaven on earth, what a beautiful alpine pasture. Trudi and her family were also very helpful. I was able to choose my own pitch, the whole alp was mine, and in the evening I spent hours watching ibexes from my tent. I will definitely be back. 😉
