Our camp is nestled at 1900 meters above sea level, near the Steingletscher glacier, just below the Susten Pass on the Bernese side. Your exclusive spot awaits behind our alpine cheese dairy and farm shop, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama. We offer only one pitch at a time, ensuring complete privacy for you. Whether you're into climbing, mountaineering, or hiking, every mountain enthusiast will find their paradise here. Bringing a second vehicle is also welcome, provided you know each other. Our farm shop, open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, accepts CHF, EUR, or TWINT for your convenience.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. The stream originating from the Steingletscher glacier is right next to our camp. You'll also find various hiking trails and climbing routes nearby. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking mountain scenery and marvel at the majestic glacier. And for those evenings when you don't feel like cooking, the Hotel Steingletscher, conveniently located just across from us, invites you to enjoy a delicious meal.

I spent two nights at this beautiful spot. Shower and toilet are functional and clean. Many thanks Peter for this spot
Beautiful pitch with a great mountain panorama. Shower and WC in the hut right next to it, and very clean. The hostess gave us a very friendly welcome, and there's nothing but positive things to report otherwise. Leveling ramps are recommended, at least if you sleep elevated (pop-up roof).
Very nice spot, especially at night when there's less traffic on the road. Very friendly cheesemaker, very fine products from the cheese dairy. Very large space. Exclusive. Tip: bring your own firewood. We had to pay CHF 20.00 for the firewood, which we find completely outrageous since the site rental already seems too expensive to us. A campfire fits perfectly here though, and it absolutely had to happen!

Interesting place. Directly to start hiking. Very friendly hosts. The cheese and also the other products offered are very delicious. A great experience in the middle of the mountain world. Only to recommend. Warm greetings Christiane and Marcel
The spot looks very nice and very remote, but is is very close to the road en the hotel ( in the night is silence , but they start racing the road early in the morning. The facilities are clean. But for us it was too expensive for what you get. The surrounding is very impressive, felt like we were on the moon. The campsite is next to the trail so in the morning a lot of people walked trough the camp. With a dog is this not really relaxing. But overall it was quite an expierence .
