The Elbe Cycle Path is just 4km away, offering a beautiful connection to Dresden and Meissen. The adjacent forests leading to Moritzburg also invite you to enjoy a leisurely bike ride or hike. In the center of Weinböhla, you'll find charming small shops for browsing and a variety of dining options, from traditional local cuisine to exotic flavors. The natural swimming pool provides a welcome cool-down on hot summer days. The Zentralgasthof, a cultural event center, offers concerts and theater for cultural entertainment, including the popular "Freitags Wein" (Friday Wine) event every Friday in summer.

On our farm, you'll find a shady spot nestled safely under the trees. Here, far from the hustle and bustle of traffic, you can spend the night and listen to the crickets' evening concert. Nearby, you'll have direct access to the picturesque town of Weinböhla, with excellent public transport links to Dresden, Meissen, and the surrounding area. The Saxon Switzerland region is just a stone's throw away from here. Along the Elbe River, you can even stop at several charming 'Besenwirtschaften' (seasonal wine taverns) during a bike tour to Dresden.

Numerous shopping opportunities are conveniently located near the town center. You'll find bakeries, butchers, and several supermarkets right in the immediate vicinity.

Our farm is nestled on the outskirts of the village center, offering a tranquil retreat. The nearby railway line connecting Dresden to Berlin is well-shielded by ample woodland and isn't heavily trafficked, allowing you to observe a rich variety of wildlife with a little patience and quiet – deer, hoopoes, foxes, golden orioles… and certainly one of our three resident cats!
