Der Elberadweg ist nur 4km entfernt und bietet eine sehr schöne Verbindung nach Dresden und Meissen. Auch die angrenzenden Wälder nach Moritzburg laden zu einer gemütlichen Rad- oder Wandertour ein. Im Ortskern Weinböhla gibt es kleine Läden zum Schlendern und Gastronomie von der gut bürgerlichen Küche bis hin zum Exoten. Das Naturbad bietet in heißen Sommern eine willkommene Abkühlung. Der Zentralgasthof als Veranstaltungszentrum bietet mit Konzerten und Theater kulturelle Abwechslung wie jeden Freitag im Sommer das beliebte „Freitags Wein“ Event. 

Auf unserem Hof findet ihr einen schattigen Platz im Schutz der Bäume. Hier könnt ihr abseits des Straßenlärms die Nacht verbringen und am Abend den Grillen bei ihrem Konzert zuhören. Im Umkreis findet ihr direkten Zugang zum malerischen Ort Weinböhla mit direkter Anbindung per ÖPNV nach Dresden, Meißen und das Umland. Bis in die sächsische Schweiz ist es von hier ein Katzensprung. Entlang der Elbe kann man bei einer Radtour nach Dresden auch an so einigen Besenwirtschaften halt machen. 

Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nah am Ortskern zahlreich. In unmittelbarer Nähe existieren Bäcker, Fleischer sowie einige Supermärkte. 

Unser Hof liegt am Rande des Ortskerns in ruhiger Lage. Die benachbarte Bahnlinie von Dresden nach Berlin ist durch ausreichend Wald abgeschirmt und nicht zu stark frequentiert, sodass man mit ein wenig Ruhe und geduld zahlreiche Tiere - Rehe, Wiedehopf, Fuchs, Pirol…und sicher auch eine unserer 3 Katzen beobachten kann.
