My stay was very pleasant overall. The people are very nice and everything was completely uncomplicated, even with a dog. The toilets, which are shared with the restaurant guests, as well as the showers, are clean and regularly maintained. At first, I was concerned that the noise level from the restaurant might be bothersome, as I like to get up early and go to bed early. However, the restaurant closes as early as 8:00 PM, so you actually have peace and quiet for the rest of the evening. The only drawback I wish I had known beforehand: the site can be a bit difficult with a tent. There are a lot of stones in the ground, making it almost impossible to get standard pegs in. Gravel wouldn't be a problem in principle if there were normal soil underneath—which I assumed, as the site is listed as suitable for tents. Anyone coming with a tent and only standard pegs should therefore get suitable pegs beforehand or perhaps choose a different pitch. Otherwise, the setup can become unnecessarily frustrating right at the start. Apart from that, I had a very pleasant stay and would generally recommend the site.
A perfect place to stay, very friendly people, and a beautiful area to explore the mountains. We also really enjoyed the Bread & Merende hiking trail.
Great view and a very relaxed atmosphere!
Great stay. Dogs were no problem. Newly renovated shower, beautiful view, toilets located in the inn. Everything was clean.
A beautiful spot on the alpine pasture with numerous hiking and bouldering opportunities right outside the camper door. The impressive mountain scenery and peaceful surroundings invite you to enjoy nature to the fullest. The delicious lunch menu for campers and the jacuzzi with a dreamlike view make the stay truly special. I felt completely at home and would love to come back.
I had a great stay with an excellent starting point for hikes. The hosts are very warm and the dinner is delicious.
