Gaze at the starry sky over the Kerenzerberg right from the comfort of your bed. Enjoy the magnificent views over Lake Walen and the Churfirsten peaks as you count shooting stars, discover countless constellations you never knew existed, and listen to the mystical sounds of nature... Who knows, you might even spot one of the local animals coming by for a closer look at their visitors. Here, amidst the pristine nature of the Glarus mountains, you can leave everyday life behind and recharge with fresh energy and joy. This cozy Bubble Suite is located in Obstalden, in the idyllic hamlet of 'Walenguflen' high above Lake Walen. From here, you have a wide range of activities to choose from, both around the lake and in the mountains. An eco-friendly toilet is located directly by the Bubble Suite, so you don't have to walk far at night. In addition to a gas grill, the well-equipped breakfast bar features a refrigerator, stove with pots and pans, dishes, water, and a coffee machine. The price includes a welcome drink, free coffee, and a voucher for a scooter rental (Trotti) on the Kerenzerberg. Upon request, we can heat up the hot tub for you, where you can let your gaze wander over the lake and mountains (Sfr. 120.00 flat rate).

The village shop in Obstalden is open daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm as a self-service store (payment via debit/credit cards and Twint). In addition, the friendly village shop team is available to assist you during regular opening hours.
Tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of 'Walengfuflen,' this spot offers total privacy and tranquility alongside breathtaking views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten mountains. A variety of restaurants are just a 5 to 15-minute drive away. Please note that there is no parking directly at the Bubble; the parking area is located approximately 600 meters below, at the turn-off to the private road leading to the site.

Wonderful view over Lake Walen with a nearby excursion destination including scooters. Well-equipped, but no bathroom. Price-performance ratio rather expensive without breakfast, compared to other bubbles.

Beautifully situated, very well-maintained, and lovingly prepared location, friendly and uncomplicated communication. The bubble was already ready in the morning, and we were allowed to use the area, including the well-equipped kitchen, as we pleased. The icing on the cake was the tickets for the chairlift and monster scooters for the subsequent descent, both provided by Rafters G.
