Waldbaden im Bad Krozinger Heilwald

Germany-79283 Bollschweil
Two years ago, we, along with the local forester and other nature enthusiasts, established a unique 'Forest Bathing' trail. Five information boards provide fascinating insights into forest life, timber rafting, beekeeping (historical and modern), and much more. Several wellness benches are strategically placed along the trail for your relaxation. This hidden gem is rarely visited, as it's not located on a main hiking path, ensuring unparalleled tranquility. The site, featuring a barbecue area,…

Everything was good, it's just a shame that there's no more water.
Very nice, quiet spot in the forest with great barbecue facilities.
A very quiet pitch. It was very dark - no light pollution at all. We enjoyed being close to nature.
Exciting little forest path, all-wheel drive is definitely helpful ;-) We had a short but lovely time. The beekeeper's hut offers interesting information and a roof over your head in bad weather. The fire pit is neat and includes a grill grate. Unfortunately, as stated in the description, the well currently only pumped very little water. Located directly along 2 beautiful forest hiking trails, and at night you can hear lots of woodland animals. A great experience, very clean and tidy – would happily come again.
The forest is beautiful and the forest bathing trail is lovingly designed. The info boards are also very educational! What we really didn't like was that dog owners inconsiderately let their pets do their business everywhere. On the grounds, we easily found 10 piles of dog poop without even searching, and unfortunately, one was only discovered by stepping in it. That really puts a damper on the desire to camp. And the well listed as the water supply wasn't working. We arrived by bike with kids; the last 500 meters are quite steep, so you have to take it as a physical challenge. So: you have to bring all the water you need, have no fear of dog poop, and then it's a very quiet, secluded spot. In the end, we couldn't stay the night; we didn't have enough drinking water with us for the hot day, and without the promised water supply, it wasn't enough for cooking and hygiene. We paid 39 EUR for this… I wouldn't do it again for that price.
We were very satisfied:)
