Discover a tranquil spot on our private property in the village, just a few kilometers from the Harz Mountains, perfect for relaxing and camping. You'll have plenty of space here and can choose your preferred spot around our house upon arrival.
Feel free to use our cozy, covered terrace with a table and chairs. If you wish, we can even light a small bonfire in the evening – the fire pit is always available for your use.
To help you settle in, every guest receives a fresh Hasseröder beer from the nearby Hasseröder Brewery upon arrival.
In the charming village of Veckenstedt, you'll find a Landmarkt where you can shop at regular discount prices. The market is just a 10-minute walk from our garden. There's also a bakery with a cafe and a Volksbank ATM. We can even cool your groceries for you by arrangement.
The A36 motorway is only a 5-minute drive away, making our place an ideal stopover if you're just passing through.
When you stay with us, you'll have exclusive access to a fully equipped bathroom in our adjacent house for showering and using the toilet. This private facility, complete with drinking water and electricity, is solely for your use during your stay and is thoroughly cleaned before each arrival.
If you're arriving by car, you can park it safely under our carport. I'll be happy to provide you with tips for hiking or cycling tours in the area.
We are very child-friendly (we have a 2-year-old son ourselves) and have plenty of equipment for children on-site. A high chair is available, and there's a large sandbox in the garden that you're welcome to use. Please note, however, that the property is not fully fenced for child safety, so please keep an eye on your little ones.
Unfortunately, we don't have space for motorhomes or large campers. Vehicles up to a maximum height of 1.90 m can park under our carport.

Notes on the facilities
Enjoy the spacious, covered terrace, complete with chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The private bathroom facilities are conveniently located in the adjacent house and include a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Rest assured, everything is thoroughly cleaned before each booking, and the bathroom is exclusively for your use – no one else will share it.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. We can also refrigerate your groceries upon request. Power outlets are provided both outdoors and in the bathroom. The water is safe for drinking. Feel free to use the fire pit located directly on the property for cozy evenings.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Every guest receives a fresh beer upon arrival to help you feel right at home. When you book with us, you'll have the property entirely to yourselves, meaning you won't share it with any other guests. Please note, however, that we also use the property, but there's plenty of space for everyone. In the charming village of Veckenstedt, you can shop at the local market for everyday discount prices. The market is about a 10-minute walk from our garden. You'll also find a bakery with a café there. By arrangement, we can even cool your groceries for you. Cyclists will find themselves in paradise here! You can leisurely cycle directly into the Harz mountains or the surrounding villages via scenic agricultural paths. The EuroVelo R1 cycle route is only about 20 minutes away by bike. Experienced cyclists can reach the Brocken, at 1142 meters high, in just 2-3 hours. We are very child-friendly (we have 3 children ourselves and therefore have plenty of equipment on-site for kids). A high chair is available, and there's a large sandbox in the garden that you're welcome to use. Please note, however, that the property is not completely child-proof fenced. So, if you're traveling with children, please keep a close eye on your little ones.

I had a great time, I didn't miss a thing. With a bathroom, shower, electricity, and a way to keep my food cold, it was just super comfortable camping! I can highly recommend this place :)
