Our campsite is situated directly on the banks of the Danube, offering stunning views of the Aggstein castle ruins, and is widely considered one of the most beautiful spots in the Wachau region. Right on-site, you will find our newly built 'Genussterrasse' restaurant with a terrace overlooking the river. The lower level of the restaurant houses state-of-the-art shower and toilet facilities.

Die Gemeinde Aggsbach-Markt liegt in der Wachau. Neben den bekannten Wachauer Marillen und den Weinterrassen wurde hier auch einer der ältesten Artekakte der Menschheit gefunden - die Venus von Willendorf (ca. 30.000 Jahre alt).

Super easy booking. Very nice location on the Danube beach. Very clean toilets and shower rooms. Everything went great. Electricity is also easily accessible for camping with an extension cable. Only for light sleepers, it's a bit restless in the tent because of a humming sound every 30 minutes (not sure exactly what it was, sounded like a very loud refrigerator?). Otherwise, I can only recommend it.
Super beautiful spot right on the Danube and the bike path. Small sandy beach. Sanitary facilities are sparkling clean. Disposal and supply stations are the same. Restaurant right next door. In the evening, a friendly municipal employee even stopped by to ask if the registration went smoothly, etc. Value for money is absolutely fine. Would love to come back!
It was a very pleasant stay. The sanitary facilities were very clean, despite a large festival taking place right on the grounds. Kudos to the local community for keeping this great site in such good shape.
The campsite was good, but booking was stressful for non-digital natives and impossible without high-speed internet.
