Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
Our motorhome site is situated directly on the banks of the Danube, offering a stunning view of the Aggstein castle ruins—widely considered one of the most beautiful spots in the Wachau region. Right on-site, you will find the newly built 'Restaurant Genussterrasse' with its beautiful riverside terrace. The lower level of the restaurant houses state-of-the-art shower and toilet facilities.

Die Gemeinde Aggsbach-Markt liegt in der Wachau. Neben den bekannten Wachauer Marillen und den Weinterrassen wurde hier auch einer der ältesten Artekakte der Menschheit gefunden - die Venus von Willendorf (ca. 30.000 Jahre alt).

Great stay! Very easy to book. Electricity, water, and waste disposal are all available on-site. The sanitary facilities are really excellent and clean. The view of the Danube is fantastic. I have nothing negative to say.
Unfortunately, the restaurant right next door was closed for its day off. I would have loved to eat there, as the reviews are supposed to be amazing.
The pitch was good, right on the Danube. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. The markings for the individual pitches could be renewed. It is totally unnecessary to collect the parking fee via a provider like Nomady; the data entry is tedious and the fees are so high. !! The municipality could handle payment via a standard parking ticket machine. That would be cheaper for everyone and the site would be better received. That's the reason for the star deduction.

Great spot. Uncomplicated handling, just scan the code and register. What I and other campers there found tedious was having to enter so much information, like names and addresses of accompanying persons, etc. Otherwise, a nice site with electricity, fresh water, showers, and toilets—everything is there. Right on the Danube. Would happily come back!!

Right on the Danube, swimming beach, top-notch sanitary facilities, everything you need, very clean, directly on the bike path.

Everything was perfect for us... location, facilities, and restaurant... everyone was friendly and everything was clean... simple and uncomplicated—would love to come back. It's a pity that the pitches are neither numbered nor can be reserved.
