As a Dutch person I rarely sleep surrounded by mountains. I have to travel far to visit them and so I always look for the most beautiful spot when I finally plan a new trip. And I must say, this place is all you'll ever want! Just you, a tent, the mountains, a few lovely cows and a cat. What more does one want? Sonja and Fridolin are very kind and helpful too, even if our German is poor they helped us in every way.
One thing the future visiting nomad must know: you are in the middle of a farm and farm activities are going on all the time. 🧑‍🌾

High above the village of Rüti, you will find a private pitch all to yourselves. Located on a secluded gravel area surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the peace and quiet with stunning views of the Ortstock, Tödi, and Chamerstock mountains. The area is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. Our cows graze just below the site for two separate weeks during the summer. Please only book this offer if you truly appreciate having a space entirely to yourselves. Please note: there is a transmission mast located near the pitch!

Please note that the camp offers a rustic experience without modern comforts. Water is available at the sheepfold, approximately 100 meters away.

Please only book this offer if you are arriving without a car. This car-free tent camp is primarily designed for guests staying one night, such as Via Alpina hikers or cyclists crossing the Klausen Pass. You are welcome to use our toilet and shower facilities located in the barn. In case of bad weather, a room in our barn is available for use. This is the ideal campsite in Linthal/Rüti for the Via Alpina, as the next stage starts directly from the site. The camp is just a 10-minute walk from the Braunwald funicular and 7 minutes from the SBB train station.

Linthal boasts the best pizzeria, which even delivers delicious pizzas right to your campsite! You'll also have a refrigerator at your disposal.

Nestled in the serene rear Glarnerland region, our camp offers unparalleled tranquility, breathtaking views, and direct access to a myriad of hiking and biking trails right from your camper's doorstep. We provide two spacious pitches for campervans or motorhomes, each thoughtfully positioned for privacy, ensuring they are not directly adjacent. Guests are welcome to use our shared WC and shower facilities, and a refrigerator is also available for your convenience. Should the weather turn, our barn offers a cozy shelter. Electricity hook-up is available upon request.

One pitch is located on an asphalt surface, while the other is on gravel.

Surroundings:
A public fire pit with a playground is conveniently located nearby, directly on the Glarnerland Play and Adventure Trail. From the camp, it's just a scenic 10-minute walk to the Braunwaldbahn or SBB train station.

Biohof Tschingelgut

The camp in the upper Glarnerland offers peace, stunning views, and numerous activities right outside your camper door (Braunwald ski resort, cross-country ski trail). You are welcome to use our toilet and shower. In case of bad weather, our barn provides shelter. Electricity connection is available upon request.

The camp is just a 10-minute walk from the Braunwaldbahn funicular or the SBB train station.
