What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
The parking area at the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park Center is a spacious gravel lot, providing visitors with a convenient place to park before heading out on a hike. This area also includes designated 'Park Overnight' spots for guests staying through the night.
The Ötschergräben gorges are a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and mountaineers, and can be reached from the Wienerbruck Nature Park Center in about 45 minutes via the scenic Lassingfall trail.

Nice pitch. It would be nice to have sanitary facilities, but they are poorly maintained/no toilet paper and there is no waste disposal, which is why everything is stuffed into the small bins in the toilets... and these were not emptied during our stay.
We were traveling by e-bike and there is no way to charge them. Also, the number of toilets is insufficient for the number of pitches. At some other campsites, you get significantly more for the same money!

Park Overnight gibt höher frequentierten Plätzen in naturnaher Lage einen zusätzlichen Nutzen. So werden bestehende Infrastrukturen effizient genutzt und legale Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten geschaffen.
Strom steht gemäß Ausstattung nicht zur Verfügung.
No waste disposal or toilet cassette emptying available, no electricity hook-up possible, yet advertised as a campsite; very poor value for money.
