They encourage self check-in but we were overcharged for our stay. When I asked staff they acknowledged this is a common problem and only offered provide free coffee as a refund. They didn't seem motivated to fix this systemic and common overcharging problem. Camp users were very likely loud well after 10pm, and began again before 7am. Only a few showers to accommodate a full campsite in high season of approximately 100 or more people. The cutlery wash up station was also quite dirty. A bit disappointing
The best location, although the road can be noisy (especially in the morning). There is always space somewhere, but keep your food away from the tent because of the fox (really, there is a fridge available). Multiple hot showers, many chairs/tables to sit, cook and eat at. Water kettle and charging plugs, and when the (very kind!) hosts are present, there is expensive but good coffee and beer. Otherwise there are vending machines. Via the hosts you can get a free card for free taxi service in the area. Been here almost 10 times, will keep coming back!
