Park Overnight
What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
Parking space close to the village with a view of Vogtsburg's vineyards. The medieval wine town of Burkheim is one of the most beautiful places in the Kaiserstuhl. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, riparian forests and charming winegrowing villages, it offers guests a wide range of opportunities for hiking, cycling and excursions into the natural landscape of the Kaiserstuhl with its unique flora and fauna.
Caravans are also very welcome on our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and therefore not dependent on external infrastructure! Electricity and sanitary facilities are not available on our municipal pitches. If these conditions are not met, overnight stays in caravans on our pitches are not permitted.
According to the spa tax statute of the town of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-local persons staying in the municipality are required to register and pay the spa tax. The spa tax of €2.00 per person aged 15 and over (from 2027 €2.50 per person) or €1.00 for children (from 2027 €1.50 per person) is transferred directly during the booking process.
In return, you will receive the KONUS guest card. With the KONUS guest card, you receive numerous discounts as well as free use of public transport between Karlsruhe and Basel throughout the Black Forest. You will receive your guest card directly on site at the Citizens' and Guest Information Office in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil, or you can request it digitally. Please note the information in the booking details section.
The Citizens' and Guest Information Office is currently open as follows:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am–12:30 pm and 2:00 pm–4:00 pm
Saturday 9:30 am–1:00 pm

Notes on the facilities
Two charging stations for electric cars are located at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (Bahnhofstraße 20). In front of the Tourist Information Center, you will also find three free charging stations (with 2 sockets each) for e-bikes or small electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones). These charging stations can be used for a maximum of 12 hours; please remember to bring your own charger. Free public Wi-Fi is available at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Burkheim, Mittelstadt 7, where public restrooms are also located.
The Vogtsburg waste disposal and fresh water station is located right next to the Oberrotweil swimming pool and is available for use for a small fee.

You can cancel up to the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

In Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil, you'll find a large EDEKA supermarket and two bakeries with cafés. Numerous restaurants, ranging from rustic 'Straußwirtschaften' (seasonal wine taverns) to Michelin-starred establishments, are located throughout Vogtsburg i.K. Village and farm shops can be found in V.-Achkarren, V.-Bischoffingen, and V.-Burkheim. A charming little cheese shop awaits you in Vogtsburg-Bickensohl (Neunlindenstraße 25). Regional and seasonal fruits and vegetables are available at various stalls in Vogtsburg i.K. and at Obsthof Neumühle. The Winzergenossenschaft (winegrowers' cooperative) in Vogtsburg-Oberbergen boasts a 24-hour 'Dorfmetzgerei 2.0' shop. More delightful cafés await in the historic Burkheim village, home to the Burkheimer Kräuterhof with countless spices and much more. A vast selection of sparkling wines, wines, and non-alcoholic specialties are available at our approximately 30 wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives. Experience and enjoy a touch of poetry from a bygone era. Tours run from Easter Sunday until the end of October. Meeting point at the historic "Torhäusle". No registration required. €5 per person.

A place to feel comfortable
Dreamy view, lovely little town.
Great view, peace and quiet, feel-good atmosphere.... A waste bin or maybe a porta-potty and everything would be perfect 🙂
Unfortunately, no supply or disposal / toilet facilities available. This detracts from the impression of the very beautifully situated site.
