We had a great time - everything was as described and clean. The animals were cute! We knew about the road, but it was indeed very loud (even at night), so we wouldn't have stayed longer than a day. Everything else was wonderful!
We booked at short notice and luckily received the toilet code on the same day, which apparently isn't a given, and I think people should know that before booking. It is a beautiful spot. We were just unlucky that very loud music from a party at the castle could be heard from the afternoon onwards, and it lasted all night until 8 a.m... probably even longer. We left because it became too much for us. We could have put up with the road noise alone.
Wir hatten einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Zufahrt ist gut beschrieben und leicht zu finden, der Empfang sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Trotz der Lage an der Straße war es nachts überraschend ruhig und überhaupt kein Problem. Besonders toll ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge zur Burgruine. Insgesamt alles tiptop.
A lovely campsite. There were only two other campers there, so it was nice and quiet. Although the site is within earshot of the road, it didn't bother us. Clean sanitary facilities. There are also coffee and snack machines available. No card payment possible at the machines. We can recommend this place without reservation.
Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for letting us enjoy your beautiful garden. Wonderfully located, there is a BBQ area available—please bring your own wood or collect some in the extensive forest nearby. ..... we will definitely be back. Renate and Thomas
