Tierische Nachbarschaft

It was a wonderful weekend! Magdalena was a very warm host and we felt right at home. Only downside: In our opinion, the sanitary facilities could use a bit of an update and perhaps be kept a little cleaner. Still 5 stars, because we had such a great time and everything else was perfect ☀️

For me, staying at the Meissnitzerhof with Magdalena, her family, and the well-cared-for animals was the most wonderful experience of my camper life so far. If I could, I would gladly give double the number of stars. On my way to Italy, I wanted to make a stopover without staying at a traditional campsite, and so for the first time in my life, I spent a few days on a farm. Magdalena was very patient with me as a city person, always answering my many questions thoroughly and with a smile. On the meadow designated for campers, I was able to park my small caravan just the way I liked. Electricity was quickly hooked up, and arriving was completely hassle-free. During the day, magnificent motorbike tours were on the agenda—so I can also highly recommend this place to bikers—the Nockalm Road, the Malta Valley, and a ride around Lake Millstatt; everything was simply perfect for me. I bought a few products from the farm shop, and everything was delicious. Magdalena is going to expand the farm shop, and a lovely room is currently being prepared for that. You can feel Magdalena's energy throughout the entire farm, and as a guest, I felt immediately comfortable. You instantly sense that you are warmly welcome. A clean shower and toilet are available for campers. Departure was also completely smooth, and I promised to come back soon. Thanks again for the wonderful holiday and warm regards from Stefan.

We actually only wanted to stay for one night and then drive on, but we felt more than welcome and comfortable with Magdalena and her family (incl. 🐕 🐈🐄 🐑 🐖 🐓), so we stayed right away for a second night! The farm is simply wonderfully convivial and it is mega fun to meet and discover all the animals! We will definitely be back! Nicole and Markus
