Our tent meadow is south-facing, situated at 1,283m above your daily routine, right next to our cottage garden. You can use the modern shared bathroom in the farmhouse, with towels included. Wi-Fi is available near the house. Coffee is on us! ☕️ 

Important: You are not booking an accommodation, but a pitch for your own tent. Cars can be parked on the farm. If you don't have a tent and plan to sleep in your car, please feel free to book our dedicated camping spot instead.

You can draw power directly at your tent via a cable reel. A garden water connection is located right by the tent meadow. You can access the farmhouse through the garden, where an electronic door lock guarantees entry at any time. Inside, you'll find the bathroom with a shower and toilet, with towels included. You can wash your dishes in our shop area. A freely accessible bean-to-cup machine provides you with high-quality organic coffee. Use of the washing machine and dishwasher is available for a fee (including detergent and dishwasher tabs).

In our small self-service farm shop, you will find rustic specialties from passionate local farmers, our own organic eggs, alpaca products, and a fridge stocked with refreshing drinks.

Our sunny tent meadow is located just below the farmhouse at 1,283m, offering southern views towards the Millstätter Alm. A moderately used mountain road passes by the farm, and the motorway runs below, which can be heard more or less depending on the wind direction. We run a small working farm, so you'll hear the occasional tractor, mooing, cackling, or mowing... You won't find absolute silence and seclusion here, but rather an authentic mountain farm run with heart.

We had a truly wonderful time here with a great view! We originally wanted to camp, but were able to switch to the holiday apartment at short notice due to bad weather. We were very grateful for the flexibility and the friendly communication! Highly recommended!

We had a really pleasant two-night stay at the Laußnitzerhof with our tent. The view is amazing, the hosts are most friendly, we did some good shopping at the farm shop and could even find some shelter inside when it started to rain. The shower and bathroom are really nice and clean, and the coffee was highly appreciated. Thank you again for the perfect spot. 10/10.

Our alpine cabin is nestled in the heart of a stunning hiking area offering trails for all skill levels. You'll find physical hiking maps waiting for you in the cabin, or you can access a digital map with suggested routes on the Katschberg Lieser-Maltatal tourism board website.

The Laußnitzer Hütte is a charming, self-catering alpine cabin belonging to the Laußnitzer organic farm. Perched at 1,836m above sea level at the edge of the western Nockberge mountains, it sits in an absolutely pristine landscape just a 20-minute walk from Lake Laußnitzsee. Our rustic solid-wood cabin features a small kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a cozy lounge with a fireplace, and a dormitory-style sleeping area for up to 9 people, complete with a separate bathroom with shower and toilet.

Enjoy the peace and simplicity far from civilization in a breathtaking mountain setting—ideal for nature lovers seeking tranquility and families alike.

Next to the guest cabin is our private hut, which we use only occasionally. After long days of mending fences or checking on our suckler cow herd, we sometimes take the opportunity to stay overnight on the alp ourselves.

Our alpine pasture is accessible only by SUV or 4WD vehicle. From the final parking area, it is approximately a 45-minute walk. For an additional fee (€30 per trip), we offer a luggage transport service, limited to one trip on the day of arrival and one on the day of departure.

Our alpine cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with a traditional wood-burning stove for cooking. Right next to it, you'll find a water-cooled storage room to keep your food fresh, where we also provide a selection of drinks available for purchase (various beers, sodas, juices, etc.). Hot water (via a wood-fired boiler) and solar power are available. The cozy living area features a wood-burning stove that keeps the entire cabin warm. The upper floor houses our sleeping loft with 5 single beds, a sofa bed, and a double bed, as well as the bathroom with a shower and toilet.

In front of the cabin, you can enjoy our large panoramic terrace equipped with seating, two sun loungers, a BBQ grill, and a fountain. Behind the cabin, there is a dedicated fire pit for campfires and grilling.

Wood for cooking, the indoor stove, and hot water is included in the price. Firewood for outdoor campfires is available for an additional fee.

Mobile reception is available on our alpine pasture, but please note there is no Wi-Fi.

Our alpine hut is in a very secluded location, with the nearest supermarket 10km away. For your convenience, we recommend bringing all your groceries with you for the duration of your stay.

Our alpine hut is situated at 1,836 meters above sea level, nestled in the heart of our mountain pastures with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Carinthian and Lungau mountains. 

In just one hour, you can reach the Neue Bonner Hütte, which serves delicious homemade Carinthian specialties. A scenic two-hour hike will take you to the Branntweiner Hütte and Kößlbacher Alm on the Aineck summit.

Just below our farm, on a south-facing meadow, we offer a camping spot with breathtaking views. You have access to household electricity via a cable reel and spring water (garden connection) during the summer. Our modern guest bathroom in the farmhouse is at your disposal, shared only with guests (max. 2) from our double room. Towels, coffee, and Wi-Fi (near the house) are included in the price.

A 5-minute walk below the farm, you'll find the Laussnitz stream—a wonderful place for your four-legged friend to cool off.

We are a family with two small children running an organic mountain farm. This is real life; when days are busy, things might be left lying around. You'll hear tractors, haymaking, the occasional smell of manure (very rare 😉), mooing, mowing, and cackling. If that bothers you, please scroll to the next listing. But if you'd like a glimpse into life on a small mountain farm, we look forward to welcoming you!

Our farm is located just 5 minutes from the A10 motorway. It’s easy to reach, though depending on the wind and traffic flow, the motorway can be more or less audible.

You are welcome to use the modern bathroom in our farmhouse; fresh towels are provided on the shelf and are included in the price. Our bean-to-cup machine will treat you to excellent organic coffee, and free Wi-Fi is available near the house. In our self-service shop, you’ll find a fridge stocked with drinks, delicious Carinthian specialties from neighboring farms, and a selection of alpaca products.

For the little ones, there is a sandbox and a playhouse. You are also more than welcome to join us in collecting eggs or feeding the sheep and goats! 🐐 🐓 🐑

The center of Rennweg is just a two-minute drive away, or a pleasant 20-minute walk (downhill). There, you'll find a pizzeria and a restaurant, a bistro, a small supermarket, and a bank.

Sonnige Wiese beim Bio-Bergbauern auf 1.300m

With us, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to winter activities. You can spend your days on the perfectly groomed slopes of the Katschberg family ski resort or enjoy the peaceful silence of the mountains on snowshoes or touring skis. Cross-country skiing trails are just a 15-minute drive away, while the winter paradise of Innerkrems can be reached in about 20 minutes.

In winter, we are usually blessed with snow, leaving you surrounded by snow-dusted trees and white mountain peaks. Since the road up to the farm can be snowy, please make sure to have snow chains with you. We keep the camper pitch on the meadow cleared of snow, as well as the path leading to the farmhouse.
