Our meadow is idyllically located right by a stream, just a stone's throw from the forest. At night, a fox might wander past, an owl might call, and in the clear Black Forest air, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the starry sky above. The meadow is situated about 100 metres from the main house—so you're not completely alone in the wilderness, but far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet. The pitch is located in the middle of the meadow directly on the stream, with direct water access. At the far corner of the meadow and diagonally opposite, we offer one or two additional tent pitches. However, these are spaced very far apart to guarantee your privacy. The toilet cabin is shared. Electricity for charging batteries/devices is available upon prior request. Water is sourced directly from the stream (not certified as drinking water, but good quality spring water; it should be boiled before consumption). On site, there is a composting/separating toilet reserved exclusively for our camping guests. For anyone who prefers not to take a dip in the stream, a solar camp shower bag is available (from mid-April) hanging by the toilet cabin: simply fill it from the stream, hang it in the sun, and enjoy warm water. At the main house, you'll find (chilled) drinks, usually coffee/tea, snacks, and ice cream available on a self-service honesty-box system. In addition, from May onwards, you can pre-order fresh bakery rolls for the next morning. Simply let us know your preferences via chat when booking (Kaiser, poppy seed, sesame—hotel size/slightly smaller, all €0.60 each; pretzels €1.30). You can deposit the exact amount in the honesty box at the main house upon arrival, and your rolls will be ready there the next morning. IMPORTANT: Orders must be placed at least 3 days in advance! Our pitch is designed for a small tent for up to 2 people. If you have a larger tent or are more than 2 people, please contact us before booking.
